Shri Shantanu Roy assumed charge as Chairman & Managing Director at BEML Ltd., w.e.f. 01.08.2023. Prior to assuming his present position, Shri Shantanu Roy was Director (Mining and Construction Business). He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from NIT Raipur and an MBA in Financial Management. He is having more than 30 years of extensive experience in the capital goods sectors for Defence, Mining & Construction, Transportation, Transmission, Renewable and large power projects.
During his tenure as Director (Mining and Construction Business), the Mining and Construction Business vertical has achieved a quantum jump in its performance. Prior to taking over as Director, he was heading Northern Region operations, strategy & new initiatives, co-ordination and International Business Division of BEML Limited.
Being a Six sigma Black Belt certified professional and widely traveled, he is adept at various models of project financing, mechanisms and processes for financial closure of large projects, international laws, arbitration rules, international legal & arbitration cases and statutory & Legal Compliances.
In his earlier stint as Head of BHEL's Marketing and Business Development team for Neighbouring countries, Middle East & America and After sales business for entire overseas operations, he was responsible for positioning BHEL in the international market for the supercritical thermal power segment with the largest ever export order of US$ 1.5 billion for the 2X660 MW Maitree STPP in Bangladesh, further consolidation of BHEL's presence in Bhutan by securing orders for three major Hydroelectric Power Projects and in Nepal by securing orders for two major Hydroelectric Power Projects, entry of BHEL in subcritical thermal power segment and large Gas Turbine based power plant in the Middle East. Prior to that, he led the production and operations for manufacturing of high voltage rotating electrical machines and traction applications at BHEL's Bhopal Unit and underwent Training on Rolling Stock electrics and rotating electrical machines in Netherlands and Germany respectively.

Shri Ajit Kumar Srivastav has been appointed as Director (Defence Business) and Member on the Board of BEML Limited. He has assumed charge on 01.06.2020.
Shri Srivastav is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1987. He joined BEML as an Engineer Trainee and in his professional career spanning over three decades in BEML, he has worked in various critical functions in the Company. He played a significant role in phased indigenization of key products and import substitution.
He also created a vendor ecosystem incorporating MSMEs and set up the Regional Quality Assurance Wing covering entire Northern India. As a District / Regional Manager, he has set up the first ever dealer network for construction equipments which lead to considerable boost in sales.
As Head of International Business Division, he effectively used buyer’s credit opportunities to enhance exports, winning award for the highest exports in 2013-14. Prior to assuming the present position, Shri Srivastav was the Chief General Manager (Defence Marketing).

Shri Anil Jerath has been appointed as Director (Finance) and Member on the Board of BEML Limited.
He has assumed charge of the post on 22.03.2022. Shri Jerath is a Cost & Management Accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Before joining BEML, he has worked as the Additional Director at Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB), Raipur and has worked at Bharat Aluminum Company Limited (BALCO), Korba.
He has rich & varied experience of 32 years in Government, Public & Private Sectors with wide exposure in all aspects of Accounting & Financial management, Accounts Finalisation and Audit, Tax Planning and Tax Management, analysing the financial viability of new ventures / new projects and forecast the amount of project finance / fund requirement, conceptualizing and implementing financial procedures including working capital management, internal financial controls and target costing.

Shri Debi Prasad Satpathy renowned for his distinguished career spanning over three decades in the industry, has recently taken charge as Director (Human Resource) at BEML Ltd, Bangalore.
Mr. Satpathy a seasoned industry professional joined BEML Ltd in 2011 and again rejoined in 2018, brings with his more than three decades of rich and varied experience in various facets of Human resources functions.
His remarkable career started at Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd in 1992, followed by BEML Ltd from 2011 to till now. In between, during 2017-2018 he has worked as General Manager (Personnel) at Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd.
Shri Debi Prasad Satpathy is holding a degree of BSc and a professional with a Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Berhampur University, Odisha.
Prior to his appointment as Director (HR), he was serving as Executive Director (HR) at the Company’s Corporate Office.
Starting from his career as an Executive Trainee to become a Director (HR), is a testament to his exceptional leadership and dedication. It marks a significant milestone in his journey, underscoring his unwavering commitment and profound expertise in the field.
His vast and varied experience has laid foundation for his deep understanding in Human Resource Development for over 32 years in both Central and State Government sectors with wide exposure in all aspects of Managing Human resources, Contract Labor affairs, Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Learning and Development, Succession Planning and system Management besides his recognition as a “Labor Law Expert”. He has played a pivotal role in negotiating wage revisions and various long-term settlements with unions.
He is known for his Employee-Centric Approach and formulated several strategic initiatives for the company as well as the industry.
He has pioneered a wide ORACLE ERP solution in HR at Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd and his active contributions in the introduction of SAP HCM modules and the development of tailor-made IT modules for HR Process at BEML Ltd. which enriched the HR practices and Organizational Growth.
He has also led various strategic HR initiatives like revisiting HR policies and practices to keep the organization workforce progressive, with special focus on diversity, inclusion and well-being.
He has also initiated various L&D Practices including Internal capability Peoples Development, i.e Train the Trainer and launched the mentoring scheme named “BANDHAN” which has been greatly appreciated. He initiated the establishment of Assessment Development Centers at various units of BEML Ltd.
He is a Certified Independent Director from Institute of Directors (IOD). He has been awarded several prestigious awards including NIPM Corporate HR Excellence Award by NIPM Palakkad Chapter, International Coaching and Mentoring by ICF.

Dr. G. Jawahar has assumed charge of Director (HR) and member of the Board of BEML Limited, A defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. Prior to joining BEML, he was Executive Director at Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited.
A veteran HR professional with over 33 years of experience in various facets of HR from 3 major Power PSUs like NHPC Ltd., Powergrid Ltd. and PFC Ltd. he made significant impact on the long-term functioning of HR. He has rich understanding in bringing new policies, strategies & practices, evolving career growth initiatives and training requirements.
Dr. Jawahar holds a Master of Business Administration (Human Resources Management), Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degrees. He has done Ph.D. in ‘Training and Development’.

Shri Vikas Ramkrishna Kakatkar (DIN-02372234) is Bachelor of Arts (Hons.), Bachelor of Law and MBA from University of Pune. Shri Vikas Kakatkar worked as Marketing Officer with Kirloskar Consultants Pvt. Ltd, Pune & Statfield Systems (Coating) Pvt. Ltd, Pune from 1979-1981. Since 1982, he is working in the business of construction for Residential and Commercial Buildings in Pune. He is associated as the Management Consultant with Perfect Machine Tools Limited and its group companies.
He is also one of the Founder Directors of Jai Hospitals Private Limited, Nashik. He is associated with many Banking, Educational and Social Institutions for upliftment of the society. Since 2001, he is associated with Deccan Education Society and during this period he is instrumental in setting up of new institutions and colleges including setting up of new Campus and Institute in Andhra Pradesh and also entered into collaborations with various International Universities.
In April 2008, he was elected as Managing Committee member with Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) and rose to the level of President from October 2019.
