Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) – 2017
As per the directives of CVC vide Circular No. 08/08/17 dated 17.08.2017, the Vigilance Awareness Week-2017 with the theme “My Vision – Corruption Free India” was observed in BEML Limited from 30th October 2017 to 4th November 2017. The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2017, in particular was highlighted.
Integrity Pledge in BEML
Vigilance Awareness Week was observed by the Central Vigilance Commission from 31st October to 5th November 2016 on the theme” Public Participation in promoting Integrity and eradicating Corruption” to inculcate the values of transparency, equity and fairness in public administration and all the stake holders are encouraged to prevent and combat corruption.
In line with the theme,the Commission had launched the online Integrity pledge for citizens and companies/firms, etc. An online certificate of commitment to the citizens/entities who took the pledge is also being provided.

Based on the above, throughout BEML, a total of 1739 including 24 Vigilance functionaries have taken the CVC’s online integrity pledge for Citizens.
The breakup of the 1739 who took the online pledge is as follows:

- Corporate Office during Defense Strategic Meet : 33
- Unity Building : 32
- Bangalore Complex during Rail Strategic Meet: 69
- KGF Complex : 198
- Mysore Complex: 1105(Including Employees)
- Mysore Complex during Mining Strategic Meet: 103(including 3 Officials of M/s Bosch)
- Palakkad Complex: 62
- VIL Tarikere : 07
